About Status mode

Status indicators provide at-a-glance status information, visible from a distance:

• Colored (sometimes flashing) light

• Written description of device status

The tabbed area provides detailed status information. The tabs that are available depend on the device. For example, only autoloading devices have a Cassettes tab.

• Queue
  Read-only information about plates as they pass through the device stages

• Cassettes
  Information about each cassette

• Messages
  Recovery messages that require an operator action

Other types of messages provide other information:

• Information and warning messages

• Prompts

A status bar at the bottom of the window shows the status of the workflow connection and provides information about status conditions that you should be aware of.
