Status bar

The status bar at the bottom of the screen provides helpful information about status conditions that may be causing you problems.

Information about workflow status

Information about the workflow is displayed at the right end of the status bar:

Information about unfinished edits

You can edit in only one data-entry area at a time (for example, the Cassettes tab, Cassette Tool, Media Tool). The status bar tells you where you have unfinished edits that are preventing you from starting new edits. Press Apply or Revert in a tool or Apply in the Cassettes tab to complete your edits so that you can start data entry elsewhere.

Information about tools that are disabled when jobs are active

You can edit the Media Tool only when there are no active jobs. If you are editing when a plate is picked, the status bar provides information about why you cannot use the Apply or Revert buttons.

You can use the Cassette Tool to select a load method (one-step or two-step) for a cassette only when the cassette is in the MCU and not in any stage of a loading process. The status bar provides information about why the load method parameters are disabled during a cassette-loading process.

Information about why some media sizes cannot be selected

You can select any media size that is named in the Cassettes tab. If the media name for a media size is blank, the media size is not available for selection.
