When you are loading a cassette, you must update Print Console's information about what is in the cassette and click Apply. You can do this anytime after clicking the button that ejects the cassette.
This procedure explains how to do this from the Cassettes tab in Status mode. You can also update cassette information from the Cassette Tool in Tools mode. See Using the Cassette Tool.
Note: You can configure the Cassette Tool so that step 4 is automated.
In Print Console, select Status mode and then the Cassettes tab.
Click Edit.
In the list, select the name of the media size that is in the cassette.
In the plate quantity box, either type the number
of plates that you placed in the cassette or use the arrows to scroll
to the number of plates that you placed in the cassette. The maximum number
of plates depends on the device.

Click Apply to put the cassette updates into effect.
