Options parameters in the Cassette tool

Cassette Online

If a cassette needs repair, you may want to disable it so that it will not be used until it is repaired. Its online/offline status will be indicated in the Cassettes tab.

To enable a cassette, select Yes.
To disable a cassette, select No.

Note: A cassette will also appear offline if it is configured to use a media size that no longer has a media name associated with it. If a media name is removed from a device, the Media name parameter in the Media Tool is set to blank and any cassettes that use that media size are set offline. If this occurs, a recovery message appears in the Messages tab at startup or during a reset or reinitialize operation.
