There is a problem bringing the plate up to the drum registration pins. The problem may be caused by:

• A faulty handoff from the fetcher to the load table

• Plate waviness

• Damage to the plate edge

If the error occurs several times, check the plate edges for damage or waviness. It may help to rotate the plate stack in the cassette 180°, so that a different plate edge is loaded into the clamps.

To correct the error:

• Click Resume. The load table traveler attempts to grab and register the plate again.

If that does not work, click Release and use this procedure to release the plate. To view a short video of the procedure, see Magnus: Releasing the plate.

To release the plate:

1. When prompted, open the load table.

2. Press and hold the Load Table button to start the plate or plates moving toward the front of the output device. There are two buttons available, one on either end of the load table.

3. Release the Load Table button when you can see or reach the plate.

4. Remove the plate from the load table.
   
   CAUTION: Wear protective gloves when handling plates. Plate edges can be sharp. Failure to wear protective gloves can result in injury.

5. Click Media Removed.

6. Close the load table.
