The plate needs to be removed from the drum. Refer to the operator guide or Visual Quick Reference for your device or use the procedure below.

Important: Do not start the recovery procedure until all the media on the unload table are ejected and have gone to the processor (the device is in an idle state).

To correct the error:

1. Open the rear hood (see Opening the Hood in the operator guide).

2. Remove the rear panels (see Removing the Rear Panels in the operator guide).

3. Remove the plate flyoff (see Removing a Stuck Plate From the Drum in the operator guide).
   
   CAUTION: Wear protective gloves when handling plates. Plate edges can be sharp. Failure to wear protective gloves can result in injury.

4. Place the trailing-edge clamps into the park position (see Repositioning the Trailing-Edge Clamps in the operator guide).

5. Replace the rear panels (see Replacing the Rear Panels in the operator guide).

6. Close the rear hood (see Closing the Hood in the operator guide).

7. Click Media Removed.
