The locking pin mechanism on the MCU cart can bind, depending on how slowly or quickly the cassette cart is pushed in or pulled out.
Use this procedure to correct the error. To view a short video of the procedure, see Magnus: Locking the MCU Cart.
Important: If moving the MCU cart as described in the procedure does not fix the problem, there may be a problem with the sensor or sensor alignment. Try the procedure several times, if necessary.
To correct the error:
Move the MCU cart slightly forward and backward to allow the locking pin to drop into place.
Click Resume
to continue the suspended motion.
The MCU checks to find the sensor.
If the error occurred with the MCU cart pushed in, clicking Release
will result in a request to pull the cart fully out.
If the error occurred with the MCU cart pulled out, clicking Release is the same as clicking Resume. The MCU tries to lock the MCU
cart at the fully-out position.
If the MCU cart is fully out and the procedure does not clear the error condition, contact an authorized service representative.
