Description:

Configures the machine to a specific machine type. The machine type will specify the maximum speed at which the drum will be allowed to run.

The valid machine types for a 5080 drum engine machine are as follows:

• "PV307" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 81.
• "PV310" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 121.
• "PV317" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 206.
• "PV320" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 206.
• "PV325" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 257.

The valid machine types for a 5880 drum engine machine are as follows:

• "PV507" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 71.
• "PV510" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 106.
• "PV517" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 181.
• "PV520" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 181.
• "PV525" configures the VLF PS for a maximum drum speed of 229.

By default, the machine type will be PVOLD. This type will allow the drum to run at a maximum speed of 206RPM.

This command is only available during the first two minutes after startup.

The machine type entered is stored in the NVS parameter "config type".
