Description:

Stops the drum in less than one rotation and idles the drum if the h option is not specified. The drum servo actively brakes the drum.

Applies a holding torque.

[p]

Brakes the drum passively, i.e., the drum is slowed simply by connecting a resistor across the drum motor windings. At normal imaging speeds, the drum may take as long as 3 seconds to stop. The drum is idled once it has come to a complete stop.
