Description: |
The stroke values modulate the power for each pair of pixels. stroke Displays the current stroke values as an array of numbers. The number in the upper-left corner corresponds to the first pixel pair in the stroke and the number in the lower-right corner corresponds to the last pixel pair in the stroke. stroke <sample> Displays the stroke value associated with the pixel pair identified by <sample>. stroke <sample> <value> Sets the stroke value associated with the pixel pair identified by <sample> to the value specified by <value>. The <sample> parameter specifies the pixel pair. The sample number ranges from 0 to one less than the number of pixels per stroke divided by the stroke increment. The number of pixels per stroke is determined by the mode NVS parameter "pixels_per_stroke" while the stroke increment is fixed at two (hard-wired by the LVD board). The <value> parameter specifies the stroke value. It is an integer ranging from 1 to 33. Adjusting this parameter from 33 to 1 decreases the optical output power of the corresponding pixels in the ON state. A value of 33 corresponds to maximum power. A value of 1 corresponds to maximum attenuation, i.e., it reduces the pixel power to 70 - 80% of the maximum power. Adjusting this value has no effect on the power of the pixel group in the OFF state. The command "stroke cal" launches the automatic beam balancing algorithm which adjusts the stroke values for each pair of pixels. The stroke values are not calibrated in any real physical units. |
