When set (1), this flag enables checking of the sensors which determine if the Trailing Edge (TE) clamps are on the actuator. When cleared, (0), the sensor is by-passed and the state al te flag is used to keep track of where the TE clamps are.

Notes:

If this flag is cleared, (0), machine operation is significantly slowed down and some critical safety checks are not done. Clearing this flag should only be done on a temporary basis and the sensor should be repaired as soon as possible. Please do not clear this flag unless absolutely necessary!
