Notes:

When the sensors are disabled (nes=1) then the firmware defaults to delay of (exit_door_delay) milliseconds before it assumes the cylinder moved as directed. When enabled (nes=0) the same amount of time is allowed for the appropriate sensor to be detected before a timeout error is generated.
