NVS Parameter: al stl

Long Name:

sensor_to_le

Applies to:

  • ThermoFlex

  • Description:

The parameter should be set equal to the distance between the surface of the registration keystock (when the drum is at le_drum_pos) and the tripping point of the table plate sensor. This value is used by the firmware when the plates main scan size is measured during a load.

The plate size is calculated by seeing how far the drum moved before the table plate sensor became uncovered, then adding this distance to the sensor_to_lec parameter.

To calibrate the parameter simply get a decent sized plate (msz between 600mm and 1,100mm) and load it with the command "load <msz> cal" (Make sure that you accurately measure the plate size, preferably down to 1mm). For more information on what this does, see the "load" command.

    Type:

    uint16

    Default:

    • 160

    Range:

    • 0 to 1000 mm

    Notes:

When you automatically calibrate this parameter with the "load <msz> cal" command the value will be slightly larger than the distance between the reg. pins and the table plate sensor. This is to take into account the inherent latency delays of reading the table plate sensor inputs, firmware calculations, etc.

    Partition:

    cal
