NVS Parameter: al lepos

Long Name:

le_pos

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto
  • Trendsetter_400/800_Proofing
  • Trendsetter_400/800
  • Trendsetter_NEWS
  • Platesetter_3244

  • Description:

The le_pos parameter specifies the drum position in encoder ticks for the leading edge (LE) actuator bar to line up with the LE clamps.

Whenever the LE clamps are automatically opened, this is the position the drum is first moved to.

This parameter MUST be calibrated during machine integration, if the encoder disk has been replaced, or if the NVS parameters have been re-initialized and the original value has not been restored for some reason.

    Type:

    integer

    Default:

    • 9340

    Range:

    • 0 to 35999 [tach ticks]

    Notes:

The geometry of the LE clamps will cause the drum to move slightly when the actuator bar opens the clamps. Therefore, when setting this parameter do not use the drum position after the clamps are opened, but rather the position that lines up the LE actuator with the LE clamps before they are opened. For the old Creo drum encoder, use 16465 as default.
