NVS Parameter: al ppos

Long Name:

park_pos

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto
  • Trendsetter_400/800_Proofing
  • Trendsetter_400/800
  • Trendsetter_NEWS
  • Platesetter_3244

  • Description:

This is the drum position for lining up the trailing edge (TE) clamp actuator with the "parking" position for the TE clamps. The TE clamps are in their parking position when they are pushed up against the back side of the Leading Edge (LE) clamps on the drum.

The park_pos parameter MUST be calibrated during machine integration, if the encoder disk has been replaced, or if the NVS parameters have been re-initialized and the original value has not been restored for some reason.

    Type:

    integer

    Default:

    • 6720

    Range:

    • 0 to 35,999 [tach ticks]

    Notes:

This parameter should be set such that when the command "putclamp" is issued and the TE clamps are placed on the drum, there is a small (approximately 2 mm) gap between the TE clamps and the back side of the LE clamps. This is just a safety margin to prevent the TE clamps from being put on top of the LE clamps. For the old Creo drum encoder, use 11895 as default.

    Partition:
