The half-step parameter is used to calculate the number of steps to move the head stage stepper motor based on a target position specified in micrometers.

For stepper motor amplifiers that operate in full-step mode, set this parameter to 1.

For stepper motor amplifiers that operate in half-step mode, set this parameter to 2.
