The steps_per_mm parameter is used to calculate the number of steps to move the head stage stepper motor based on a target position specified in millimeters. The value in this parameter must specify the number of pulses that the CY-545 motor conroller needs to output in order to move the unload traveller exactly one millimeter.

The steps_per_mm parameter assumes an implicit decimal point, i.e. a value of 10 means that it takes exactly 1.0 pulses to move the traveller 1 millimeter.
