NVS Parameter: carriage rknee

Long Name:

retrace_knee_speed

Applies to:

  • Platesetter_VLF

  • Description:

Used to control non-linear acceleration during turbo retrace. The carriage acceleration decreases as the carriage reaches its peak velocity. The kpseed parameter can be used to adjust the velocities at which the acceleration changes. Normally not changed from default. If set to 0, the optimal kspeed is calculated (about half the maximum speed). Changing knee speed can significantly slow carriage acceleration and lead to carriage stalling.

    Type:

    Default:

    • 0

    Range:

    • 0 to 5000 [mil/sec]
