NVS Parameter: head hpoffset

Long Name:

head_power_offset

Applies to:

  • Thermal

  • Description:

Used in conjunction with the "hpslope" parameter to convert the raw results of "head power full" and "head power off" measurements into Watts out of the head. This parameter value is only used with "head power full" when using "head power off" the actual offset to use is measured.

The raw reading of the shutter sensor is affected by the "head hpwrgain" parameter setting so changing this value will require commensurate changes to "hpoffset".

This value can only be calibrated if an external power meter is available and hence this parameter should not be changed from its factory setting.

    Type:

    real

    Default:

    • 0.000

    Range:

    • -500.000 to 600.000

    Notes:

Note that the "head power sum" command is the more reliable way to measure power out of the head with firmware versions greater than 1.5.

    Partition:

    cal
