Description:

The nominal operating current for the write laser diode in a thermal head is set by the parameter nomlsrcur. This is the current needed to produce the maximum rated power out of the laser when the laser is new. As the laser ages more current will be required. Note that the firmware will limit the current to 120% of the parameter nomlsrcur. At this point the laser has reached end of life.
