Records the average power sensed by the optical distance sensor when the
autofocus beam is striking the media.
The units for onthresh are the same as for the sum value returned by the head
sample focus command.
This parameter should not be adjusted directly. Use the plot edge cal on command
instead. Changing this value will cause a slight edge detect shift and affect
the geometrical corrections.
The edge detect algorithm uses a value half way between onthresh and offthresh
as the threshold for detecting the edge of the plate.
