NVS Parameter: head lpkd

Long Name:

lens_posn_Kd

Applies to:

  • Thermal

  • Description:

Specify the gain parameters for the lens positioning servo of the autofocus system.

This servo uses an error signal to control the lens position. The focus error signal is fed into a PID controller. The proportional, integral, and derivative gains of the PID controller are specified by the lpkp, lpki, and lpkd parameters respectively.

When fmode is set to 1, the focus error is the difference between the lens position sensor output and the target value specified by the lpos parameter.

When fmode is set to 0,2,3,4 or 6 the focus error is based on the optical distance sensor output. See foffset.

These parameters affect the performance and stability of the lens positioning servo. They should never be changed in the field.
