This could occur on a machine that supports multiple drums or gapless 'sleeves'. The firmware must patch certain drum parameter values to handle different drums and/or sleeves. If the algorithm that calculates these patch values (either in the host workstation or the in firmware itself) attemts to patch a parameter outside of its range of values this error will occur.
