The timeout is in place so that the carriage is not left in motion for too long, whereby it might collide with the engine chassis and cause damage. Note that it is still possible for the carriage to collide with the chassis if one of the tabs is bent or broken, but the timeout makes it less likely. Ensure the carriage is not blocked from moving. Use the CARRIAGE command to display the status of the home and away tabs. Ensure that the home and away tabs are not bent and are functioning. Ensure that nothing is blocking the home and away tabs. This error is reported. Something blocking the carriage from movement. Bent or damaged home or away tab. Home or away tab is blocked by debris. Initialization operation This describes the operation taking place that timed out.
