<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
The thermal head firmware monitors the temperature using a sensor mounted on
the thermal head case. If the temperature drops below the configured threshold,
then an unsolicited warning message is sent to the MPE. Any plot in progress is
not aborted.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
If required and available the MPE will disable the active chiller.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
If one and only one of the head NVS parameters casehigh and caselow are zero, a
temperature range suitable for an air-cooled thermal head is selected. If both
of the NVS parameters casehigh and caselow are zero, then backwards-compatible
mode is selected.
