| The total memory is the bank-switched data memory provided by the bank subsystem ( 192K words ). The used memory is the bank-switched data memory used by other subsystems. The free memory is the bank-switched data memory available to other subsystems. The maximum memory is the largest block of bank-switched data memory available to other subsystems.

| Note that the total memory does not equal the sum of the used memory and the free memory. Instead, the total memory will equal the sum of the used memory, free memory and the memory used by the linked-list of memory control blocks.
