The Auto-Focus system uses a modulated visible red laser to sense the relative position of the target media. The light reflected off the media is measured and synchronously demodulated in order to extract the focus information. To maximize the recovered signal (ie. increase signal to noise ratio) the timing of the demodulator must be optimized. The timing of the demodulator is controlled by the DMODSYNC parameter.
| The 'FOC CAL DMODSYNC' command searches for the DMODSYNC setting which maximizes the recovered focus signal. The optimal value is then displayed.
| If the diff qualifier is used, the peak in PSD difference is found.
To save the results of this command the value must be manually saved using the 'SET FOC DMODSYNC <n>' command.
