| Size of the loopback buffer from 1 to 255 ( default of 8 ).

Puts the datalink and monitor ports in loopback mode. The firmware will receive and buffer the specified number of characters before transmitting the buffer of characters. Receiving and transmitting characters in this manner alters the firmware and hardware timing thus fully testing the serial port. Loopback mode can only be cancelled by a power-cycle.
