[01330] Focus laser not turning on

Service Information Failure of the focus laser to reach a minimum current within the allotted time, indicates that a hardware failure is preventing the operation of the focus laser.

This error occurs on some TH2 heads running firmware versions older than 1.05. Here is a list of the problem versions, and the firmware versions to upgrade to:

V1.01h -> upgrade to V1.01i; V1.02 -> upgrade to V1.02b; V1.03b -> upgrade to V1.03c; V1.04c -> upgrade to V1.04d

Operator Action Upgrade head firmware to the appropriate version.

Causes
  • The incorrect head firmware version is installed, or the focus laser is not responding.
