This error is generated if the Auto-focus system is unable to track the media within the acceptable limit for focus error. Usually this indicates that the focus actuator is hitting its physical limit.

|
| The head will report this error when the focus subsystem finds 10 consecutive samples with an error of 10 microns or more.
|
|
| Note that this error code is also returned to the host as an unsolicited warning fault.

- Check that the media is loaded properly (ie. flat to the drum).
- Check that the specified imaging area is within the bounds of the loaded media.
