[02104] I2C address is invalid

Service Information An I2C address is invalid. Unless you are using the I2C monitor commands (for engineering tests only), this error is caused by a firmware bug.

Just because an address is valid does not mean a device is listening to that address.

Operator Action A workaround cannot be predicted.

Causes
  • Firmware bug.
  • Invalid address entered for I2C monitor command.
