Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
trace mode (enable|disable)

Description Configure the control mode of the trace buffer to "Enable" or "Disable". The "Enable" trace mode will store trace entries in the trace buffer. The "Disable" trace mode will not store trace entries in the trace buffer.

Trace entries are hardcoded in the firmware during development. The trace entries can be used to determine code execution and data information.

This is intended as a development tool and should not be used during normal operation.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command trace mode (enable|disable) does not have an equivalent.

Thermal 2 equivalents:
  • The monitor command trace mode (enable|disable) is equivalent to trace mode (enable|disable).
