| interface
| The interface from 0 to 1 ( 0 is Ethernet, 1 is fiber ).
Configures the default gateway of the network interface in decimal dotted notation. Decimal dotted notation requires the configuration string to be in the form "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". The only acceptable variation is that leading zeroes are not required ( i.e. 10.1.40.33 is acceptable ).
| Note that there are three possible configurations of the network interface:
- If the hostname of the network interface is defined, the network interface will use DHCP to dynamically allocate the IP address and subnet mask.
- If the IP address and subnet mask of the network interface are defined, the network interface will use the static IP address and subnet mask. If the default gateway of the network interface is defined, the network interface will add the default gateway.
- Otherwise the network interface will use BOOTP to dynamically allocate the IP address and subnet mask.
