Symptoms

User wants to transfer Windows 2000 licenses from one server to another.

Solution

Each Creo Windows 2000 server is shipped with 10 licenses. If a customer wishes to move some license(s) from Server A to Server B (for example, make Server A have 5 licenses instead of 10 and increase Server B from 10 to 15 licenses), this is a supported option.

To do this:

1. In Server A, select Control Panel > Licensing > Remove Licenses and specify the number of licenses to be removed. Click Remove and then click Yes.
2. In Server B, select Control Panel > Licensing > Add Licenses and specify the quantity of licenses to be added. Click OK. Click the I Agree button and then click OK.
