Tool Purpose
------------

1. The JDF Workflow Planner is used to create new or modify workflow templates
   for use with Prinergy software to submit jobs to the Kodak NexPress digital
   production color press.

Tool Compatibility
------------------

1. The JDF Workflow Planner requires version 3.4 or later of Kodak NexPress
   front end software.
2. The JDF Workflow Planner requires version 3.1 or later of Kodak Prinergy or
   Prinergy Evo.
3. The JDF Workflow Planner runs on the following software platforms: Windows
   XP®, Windows 2000®, Windows 2003®, and Macintosh OS X® 10.3.9 and newer.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. For Windows, launch the installer (PrinergyJWP.exe) and follow the prompts.
2. For OSX, copy the folder (PrinergyJWP.app) to your local Applications folder.

Changes in Version 9.0.7

1. Adding support for the features in NexPress S-Series 9.0.
2. Ready for beta testing for the features in NexPress M-Series 9.0.
3. Support for controlling the Delete after Print behaviour for JDF jobs.
4. Support for Staccato DX screening.
5. Enhanced controls for Black Generation.
6. Warnings to save your work before closing JWP are now working.
7. Setting the Jog and Separator Quantities is now working properly.

Changes in Version 8.5.1

1. Jog settings now supported.
2. When creating a new template JWP now uses the NexPress front end defaults.
3. Smooth FM was added to Screening Systems [Color / Rendering Tab].

5. Disposition (Delete After Print)  [Finishing Tab].
6. Default Template values have changed.
7. The Reference Guide is now availabe in English, French, Italian, German,
   Spanish and Japanese.

Changes in Version 3.6
----------------------

1. Custom Bleed settings no longer revert to zero when loading a template.
2. The bleed and gutter values now use three decimal places.
3. TabloidL trim size was changed from 171 to 17 inches.
4. Gutter values, when set to "2 x bleed", now change correctly with bleed
   values.
5. Output Bin values are now working correctly.
6. Algorithm for calculating offsets was updated to handle bleed and step &
   repeat correctly.
7. When saving templates, the file browser remembers the sub-folder the
   template was loaded from.

Known problems in Version 9.0.7
-------------------------------

1. For Mac OS X 10.3.9, you may need to IP addresses to access the NexPress
   font end and Prinergy servers.
2. On Mac OSX 10.3.9, the load template dialog may not show files that were
   created recently (i.e. just saved).  Closing and restarting JWP will clear
   this problem.
3. The Reference Guide has not been updated for version 9.0.7.
4. The gutters setting will only work with a Saddlestitch finishing style.
