This situation is currently only artificially being recreated in our lab, causing the initial simultaneous tasks not to start. However, should this be encountered in the field, an easy workaround would be to manually submit a single task as the first task after a startup before the majority of the load begins. 2) Reminder: In order to preserve correct order of Imposed and Final Output, it is important not to use any JTP pools in your IP or FO process plans. 3) RBA: A new feature in 3.0.3.1 called "Hot Swap" allows you to swap out a running rule for another rule. Instead of making edits to a running rule (and thus killing it), you can now replace the old rule with a new (edited) rule. The old rule runs to completion before the new one will kick in. As an example: if you have archives waiting to happen and you do not want to kill them, just to make some small edits. Note that you can hot swap a running rule in one particular job or in all jobs. This "Hot Swap" feature replaces the previous "Edit and Reactivate" feature. ------------------------------ Problems fixed by this update: ------------------------------ MBOR-0000194 When multiple workflows were active for the same job, some subsequent surfaces might not get output. This has been fixed. ACHN-0000315 Archiver Retrieve operations took a long time at some sites. This has been fixed. The database query has been changed and now the performance is a lot better. Also when submitting impositions for output, there will now be a history detail for each surface, unless it's turned off in the registry, by setting TWFM\VerboseImpoSigs to a DWORD with value 0. RFES-0000054 Job Export would corrupt Preps .job files internally stored in the Prinergy job, making it unusable for edit cycles. This is now fixed. Now pixel-interleaved output (compatible with Digital Print) is generated automatically if no spot colors are being output. This makes Raster PDF less dependent on "respect overprint" settings on the destination RIP. GGEE-0000044 Gravure outlining hangs for composite output formats. This has been fixed. Now the format can be customized using the following tags: %y - year (two digits) %Y - year (four digits) %m - month %b - month (as 3 character string) %d - date %H - hour %M - minute %S - second To make a mark that would print out like, "Mar-11-2006" the variable mark would look like $[date_%b-%d-%Y] To make a Time mark that only prints the hour and minute, the variable would be $[time_%H:%M] The tags are case sensitive and the underscore after the date/time in the variable is required. Separate the tags using colons or dashes. Spaces are ignored and underscores are not supported. MBOR-0000177 Several spelling errors in preflight reports have been fixed.
