RMON-0000512 Trap properties will not accept multiple "~"-values (image) for trap color. This has been fixed. In the Trap Editor plug-in for Acrobat, the user was only ever able to set a ~ (image) value for a single trap color. A bug has been fixed so that the plug-in will now accept multiple ~ (image) values for trap colors. RMON-0000671 Screen angles cannot be changed in DotShop on Mac Acrobat 7. This has been fixed. AENH-0000070 Prinergy would inaccurately recognize the number of colors inside certain shading objects. This is now fixed. BPOR-0000094 Smart Review does not match VPS or Acrobat for certain page. KLEW-0000237 Some pairs of ICC profiles can produce non pure white CMYK output for pure white input CMYK or Lab with relative colorimetric intent during color conversion. The possibility of this has been reduced. KLEW-0000374 Color Matcher would fail when device link from RGB to 5 colors was used in the process plan. This has been fixed. KLEW-0000390 Color Matcher would skip files processed with CEPS JTP, even if "Process CEPS data" was enabled. This has been fixed. ABUT-0000049 Minimum Dot Size feature added to DotShop Composer. This feature allows a minimum dot size (as a tint percentage) to be specified, e.g. 10%, below which dots will not be generated. This is needed for flexography output as the dots are physically too small to hold on the media. GGEE-0000044 Gravure outlining hangs for composite output formats. This has been fixed. GGEE-0000078 (See ABUT-0000049) GGEE-0000097 Non-seamless option added for Kodak IS screening. The Seamless button in the Process Template editor now allows Kodak IS screening (formerly Brisque screens) to be generated with either a non-seamless or seamless option. Non-seamless uses fixed screen rulings and angles for a screen set, independent of the output surface height. Seamless output computes screen rulings and angles for a screen set to ensure that the top and bottom edges of the output surface align seamlessly. DMCA-0000168 Gravure: Added a G-Ratio Configuration file option that allows different G-Ratio to be applied to different separations. DMCA-0000169 Added Staccato screens to replace the Diamond screen system. When Diamond is licensed the user will have access to Staccato 20.1, 31.1, 42.1 and 63.1. JRON-0000371 New feature: Added a setting called "Imposition Marks Calibration" to allow a whole marks file to not have calibration applied to it. This is found in the Layout pane of Process Template. LMCE-0010161 Signature Booklet Feature needs to handle books bound on the right side. Added a registry setting (CTMJ\SignatureBookletBindMode) to tell the signature booklet feature to assume books are right bound. LMCE-0010185 The signature booklet feature incorrectly calculates offset from trim box using the clipping path instead of the trim box. This has been fixed. RMON-0000743 A certain error when outputting a particular imposition proof containing variable marks has been fixed. SEFR-0000154 Digital Print should not produce newline characters that are not in the original template file. This has been fixed. SZMA-0000121 Flat tints are a bit darker (~0.2%) when using HyperFlex Advanced than they are when using regular screening. This has been fixed. SZMA-0000149 HyperFlex Advanced, when used in Free Position with HyperFlex Classic, should not place HyperFlex around HyperFlex Classic dots. This has been fixed. DMCA-0000176 LQS TIFF output support for more accurate beam reduction on the Magnus 400. Previously the screening info provided to the output device via the LQS .INI file contained only the nominal (requested) screen angles and rulings and only for the override screen system. With this update, the exact screening angles and rulings are generated for all screen systems used in a job, whether they are override or DotShop screens. The Magnus 400 will use all of this information to more accurately modify the beam to improve output. DMCA-0000159 Various New OPI Features Added . "Skip images with these suffixes:" - skips over image files with user definable suffix (.tif, for example). This is useful in cases where certain image types are already high resolution, and therefore don't require OPI swapping. . "Search for images in subfolders automatically": recursively search subfolders within the image search paths . Extract and use clipping paths and spot channels from Photoshop TIFFs . Preserve softmasks present in TIFF files: When this is enabled, Prinergy searches for the first alpha channel in the TIFF file and uses it as a softmask. . Make drop shadow images transparent based on suffix of image: This enables drop shadows (with certain extensions) to be transparent when OPIed into a Prinergy page. Without this, improperly-built drop shadows will hide elements below it. JBRF-0000931 Added checkbox to remove TrimBox and BleedBox from a PDF file. This checkbox is found in the Normalize section of the process template. When the checkbox titled "Eliminate Trim and Bleed Box" is checked, then if the PDF contains a TrimBox or a BleedBox it will be removed. KLEW-0000346 Feature: Put an "X" on dummy thumbnails for pages that refined with errors. MKEG-0000043 Hairlines would appear on certain image edges after OPI. When images to be OPI'd have a colored fill like white behind them it would not always be completely covered by the image after OPI resulting in hairline artifacts on the image edges. MKEG-0000077 Some Helios .Lay files would get an "OPI Engine Unhandled Exception Error". This has been fixed. BPOR-0000095 Transparency Groups were not flattened as requested. This has been fixed. Normalizer can now take in Photoshop 8-bit TIFFs, including Grayscale, RGB, and CMYK colorspaces. It can also take in 1-bit Photoshop TIFFs ("Bitmap"). In a "Final Output Due Time Changed" or a "Proof Due Time Changed" event used as a root event in a rule set, the old time was always midnight on the correct day, now the correct hour and minute are supplied. BCON-0000160 Destroy job action can be used from a job rule set You can now destroy a job using the Destroy Job action from a rule set enabled in the job you are trying to destroy, i.e. the job can commit suicide. The rule set will be aborted at that point, so rule(s) chained to the Destroyed event coming out of the Destroy Job action will not be run. BCON-0000278 Job property in Prinergy objects is obsolete Many Prinergy Data Model objects had a "Job" property which referred to the Prinergy Job which they belonged to. All Prinergy events now have a Job property, so having the property in the objects is no longer necessary. Also, having this property in both places made the Matching Event Properties tree in the Parameter Value dialog unnecessarily large and slow. So, the Job property in the objects is now obsolete (which means that old rules which refer to it will still work, but it will not appear as a candidate property for selection when building new rules).
