Using pick lists

Task

Steps

Display and hide the pick list

Click Pick List in the upper-right corner of the Synapse Desktop window.

Add elements from a project or library

Select the elements and then select Actions > Add to Picklist, or drag the selected elements onto the pick list.

Remove one or more elements

To remove a single element, select it and then select Edit > Delete, or press the delete key.

To remove all elements currently in the pick list, select View > Pick List > Clear, or in the Pick List pane, click clear all.

Note that removing an element from a pick list does not delete the element from its original project or library location.

Download elements

Select the elements and then click the Download selected items button.

Copy elements to a project or library

Drag the selected elements to the desired project or library folder.

View a quick summary of an element’s attributes

Roll the mouse over the element. A pop-up window displays information about the element.

Modify an element’s attributes

Select the element and then click the View Attributes button.

View an element’s original location

Select the element and then click Show Location. The Synapse Desktop window switches to open the project or library in which the original of the element is stored.
