Description:

Commands to calibrate the focus laser. Used for integration. "focus cal" should never be run except on media of known reflectivity (Kodak IR plate @ sr 0.16). The purpose is of this command is to setup the head dependent focus parameters. Media dependent changes belong in the media NVS settings.

On other media use "focus cal reflect" to determine a suitable value for the "media sr" setting. This last variant of this command is the only one that should need to be used in the field. To use this command switch to new media setting with "mode media" command position head in front of media loaded on drum and then issue the command "focus cal reflect".

It is possible to do all the calibrations done by "focus cal" one by one using the commands "focus cal fshift", "focus cal fhead", "focus cal fmod" and "focus cal error". These commands adjust the head parameters "fshift", "fheadcal", "fmodcal" and "ferrcal" respectively.
