Error Number: 504

Error Message:

MISC: Recorder standby mode disabled because laser calibration time too long

Applies to:

  • Green

Service Information:

This message does not indicate an error. It indicates that laser standby mode has been disabled automatically because a laser calibration time was longer than the limits specified in NVS. The calibration time limits are "set laser wthr" for re-calibrations (i.e. laser already stable) and "set laser cthr" for calibrations from a "cold" laser.

Laser standby mode will not be re-enabled until the recorder is restarted.

Operator Action:

No action required. This message does not indicate an error.

Cause:

  • Laser is getting old, causing a longer than normal calibration time.
