Error Number: 7007

Error Message:

CARRIAGE: position register not accurate

Applies to:

  • All

Service Information:

This error should not be reported during normal operation. An attempt has been made to move the carriage to a position, but the position register is not accurate. The carriage position register is initialized automatically when necessary by sending the carriage to the home switch at the beginning of a command. It may be possible to cause this error using monitor commands.

If this error occurs during normal operation (i.e. no monitor commands used) a firmware bug should be reported. If this error occurs while using a monitor command, the "carriage init" command should be used before attempting the command again.

Operator Action:

Record error message and contact Creo service

Cause:

  • Carriage commands issued through the diagnostic monitor
  • Currently unknown firmware or hardware bug
