Service Information:

warm reset. basically the communications handshake to a stepper has most probably hung up. CY545 controller is on the ALE board, and communications is from the MPE via the back plane to the ALE. This should have nothing to do with the HV 80V or stepper driver.

Operator Action:

Reset machine.

Cause:

• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to setup the speed failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to read the speed failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to setup the position failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to read the position failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to move to an absolute position failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to jog a relative number of steps failed to complete.
• A communication to the CY545 stepper controller to move to home failed to complete.
