Error Message:

ALE: Unload Table timed out moving up|down

Operator Action:

Select the RESUME button on the workstation dialog box. If this fails to correct the problem, check that nothing is obstructing the unload table to prevent it from moving all the way up or all the way down. If everything looks normal, then Creo Service should be called.

Service Information:

The unload table up or down sensors failed to trip within the timeout specified by the aldly tud parameter. The sensor status may be checked by using the TABLE command. The sensor status should read TRUE if the sensors are activated.

It may be useful to set the 'verbose alcmd' and 'verbose alconv' parameters to 1 in order to obtain further diagnostic information.

NOTE: The magnet for the unload table DOWN sensor is located on the back cover of the machine. If this cover has been removed for service, then this will cause the "Unload Table timed out moving down" error.

Typing "ALE" will display the system air pressure.

Cause:

The back cover may been removed from the machine.
The unload table may have been obstructed by something.
The unload table magnetic sensors may not be adjusted correctly.
The magnetic sensors may have been damaged.
The aldly tud timeout value may be set too short.
The wiring to the air valve solenoid may be disconnected or damaged.
The wiring to the magnetic sensors may be disconnected or damaged.
The pneumatic speed controls may be mis-adjusted.
The pneumatic system may be damaged.
The air supply may be low or turned off.
If the unload table moves up and down properly but the sensors are not working, then the sensors may be temporarily masked off by setting al uts to 0. Masking off these sensors will get rid of the error message but will cause the machine to run significantly slower than it used to.
WARNING: Masking off sensors disables proper error checking!
