ALE: STEP : axis 2 timed out while aborting

Operator Action:

This error should not occur during normal machine operation. If it does, first try selecting the RESUME button on the workstation dialog box a few times. If this does not make the problem go away, then select RESET PLATESETTER RECORDER from the workstation SYSTEM pull-down menu. If the problem persists, then Creo Service should be called.

Service Information:

This error occurs if the stepper motor takes longer than five seconds to stop after the red ABORT button is pressed or the TABLE ABORT or ABORT diagnostic monitor commands are issued while the stepper motor is running. This error should not occur during normal machine operation.

Cause:

• Make sure that the red ABORT button is not pressed and then type RESUME. If the procedure described in Operator Action does not correct the problem, then the only remaining option is to reset the recorder.
