Error Number: 15348

Error Message:

ALE: Picker wrist sensor isn't working

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Auto
  • Trendsetter_NEWS

Operator Action:

Call Creo for assistance.

Service Information:

If this error is reported, the picker wrist sensor is probably faulty.

After moving the picker up and in, but before moving the wrist in, the picker wrist sensor is checked. If it reads low, then this error is reported.

The sensor can be temporarily disabled by setting "al pios" to 0. Disabling this sensor will cause the machine to run very slowly, and prevents proper error checking.

Cause:

  • The sensor may not be close enough to the metal strip on the right side of the picker.
  • The wiring may be faulty, or intermittant.
  • The picker head may not have moved in (sensor only reads true if head in and wrist out).
