Error Message:

ALE: STEP : axis 1 timed out while aborting

Operator Action:

This error should not occur during normal machine operation. If it does, first select the RESUME button on the workstation dialog box. If that does not correct the problem, select RESET TRENDSETTER from the workstation TRENDSETTER pull-down menu. If the problem persists, call Creo Service.

Service Information:

Make sure that the red ABORT button is not pressed and type "resume". If the procedure described in Operator Action does not correct the problem, then "reset" the recorder.

Cause:

• This error occurs if the stepper motor, while running, either takes longer than five seconds to stop after the red ABORT button is pressed, or the "vr abort" or "abort" diagnostic monitor commands are issued. This error should not occur during normal machine operation.
