Error Number: 15364

Error Message:

ALE: STEP : axis 1 timed out while moving

Applies to:

  • Trendsetter_400/800_Proofing

Operator Action:

Select RESUME from the workstation dialog box. If that doesn't correct the problem, make sure that the vacuum roller is not obstructed and try again. If the problem persists, call Creo service.

Service Information:

This error occurs when the stepper motor takes longer to complete a MOVE or JOG command than the time specified by the "altim cmd" parameter. This happens if the traveller is obstructed, if the stepper motor or amplifier is damaged, if the timeout is set too short, or if the motor speed values are incorrect.

The sensor status may be checked by using the TABLE command. The sensor status should read TRUE if the sensor is activated.

Cause:

  • The vacuum roller is obstructed.
  • The stepper motor or drive amplifier is faulty.
  • The timeout value ("altim cmd") is incorrect.
  • The motor speed parameters ("aldrv 1 fr") are set incorrectly.
  • The sensor wiring is faulty.
  • The gears or chain are loose or broken.
