Operator Action:

Open the machine's front panel and remove the media (receiver and/or donor) which is partially loaded onto the drum. Also check underneath and behind the drum for any fly off media. Select the only available button (RESUME if the machine is initializing, MEDIA CLEARED otherwise) from the workstation dialog box to continue.

Service Information:

A media flyoff has occured or the machine was powered down while loading the proofing media. The proofing media (receiver and/or donor) must be removed from the machine before selecting the pop-up button on the workstation (RESUME if the machine is initializing, MEDIA CLEARED otherwise). If this error occurs frequently with no apparent cause (ie no flyoff media was found or machine was not powered down during media loading), then the fly-off sensor may be misaligned or damaged. Use "set drum chkfly 0" to disable the fly-off sensor and get the customer going, and arrange for field service.

Cause:

• A proofing media flyoff has occured.
• Use reset/reboot/powered down the machine while loading the proofing media.
• Fly-off sensor is damaged or misaligned.
