Error Number: 16035

Error Message:

IMAGE: imaging attempted with potentially uninitialized head

Applies to:

  • Green

Service Information:

In normal operation the MPE will download head parameters from the head. But if the MPE cannot communicate properly with the head, this message may appear.

The problem may be caused by a flakey data cable between the head and MPE (this is a ribbon cable for HRX & green heads). It may also be caused by a fault in the head such as an acutator failure.

Reboot the platesetter and watch the logon text closely. Look for any head communication errors.

Check that ECO B739 has been implemented. (link below)

Operator Action:

Check any imaged plates. Reboot the platesetter. In any case, report this message to Creo Service.

Cause:

  • Actuators not properly initializing.
  • Flakey data cable between head and MPE.
