Service Information:

The recorder received an image command for a proof but there is no receiver loaded on the drum.

Operator Action:

The workstation has launched a proof but the recorder has detected that there is already a receiver and donor on the drum by testing the plate_loc d proofer_status flag. When this flag is 3, the recorder thinks there is a donor on the drum. The workstation should have unloaded it at the end of the last proof by issuing a WORKSTATION_PROOF_END command but for some reason it didn't.

If there is a donor on the drum, try to unload it from the workstation. If there is not a donor on the drum this error is possibly a firmware bug. Manually reset the flag. "set state plate_loc d proofer_status 0" Get the monitor log and report it to the responsible firmware developer.

Cause:

• The image was launched but the recorder checked the nvs parameter "plate_loc d proofer_status " and found a donor loaded. The proofer_status flag it should be 3. Possible values are: 0 - drum is empty 1 - carrier on drum 2 - receiver on drum 3 - donor on drum
• The recorder received a command to start loading a proof but the drum is not empty. The nvs parameter "plate_loc d proofer_status" in the plate_loc d table must be 0 or 1, before a proof can be loaded.
• The recorder received a command to unload a proof but the drum is empty ( "plate_loc d proofer_status" was 0 ). There has to be media on the drum before it can be unloaded.
